I am a married mother of three adult “boys”.  It’s still hard for me to call them adult “men” in spite of the fact that they are all over 24.  They will always be “the boys” to me.  My husband took on our kids when they were 8, 10 and 12.  He, therefore, should be considered a saint.   I have been a nurse for the past 20 years and am currently work in nursing education.  That will be a book someday…after I can no longer be fired for it!

My blog is a humorous (hopefully!) mix of memories of raising my boys, the continual opportunities of learning in my marriage and the newest addition to all the craziness…hot flashes, mood swings and the never ending wait for peri-menopause to be officially over.  Hopefully you will find something you can identify with or…even better…find a way to say “Hey…at least it’s not me!”

If you have any suggestions for topics relating to Mothering, Marriage or Menopause, feel free to make a comment – I will do my best to find some humorous way for us to look at it together. Life is better with laughter…sometimes it is all that keeps us from crying!  As Erma Bombeck stated “If you can’t make it better, you can laugh at it.”
